Did you hear who has this car? Over the past years, the more students are able to start driving, students start to gain attention to their cars, like for example muscle cars or the designs they have on their cars. It’s a good feeling to have people eyeballing your car to show you care about your car, not even just designing it, it shows you have responsibility in even having a car. Having a car and working on it, shows the kind of person you are and shows you care about style.
What would a reason be for having a muscle car though? The main reason is to show off, it’s not necessarily a bad thing it shows you take pride and joy within your vehicle, most people like cooler cars because they are sleek, gain attention, and are powerful which is a scary factor but it’s the reality.
Most people don’t even realize that investing in these types of vehicles is a great thing for the future as well, because some models of cars will stop being made for a while and those cars become collectibles throughout the future. So just having a cool car can be fun and super beneficial to invest in later on down the road.
According to insider.hagerty.com states, “Note that other segments are accelerating even faster. For modern performance cars, defined here as coupes and convertibles built between 1985 and 2003, sales increased 31 percent over the same period. Credit their popularity on fast-growing online auctions platforms, as well as the ever-increasing clout of the younger buyers who prize these vehicles. Don’t take this, however, to mean modern classics are more popular: The sales rate for these vehicles, just over 9,000 per year since April 1, remains less than half that of muscle cars.”
I asked Alex Hamilton-Dubsky if they ever got any attention or compliments about her car, and she said “No I don’t really get attention but I did have this girl compliment my car but she said ‘I like your Challenger’ and I said ‘thank you’ and got into my car and said, ‘its a Charger…’”
I went around the school and also spoke to Markus Delfin asking him the same thing and he said, “No not really an attention but compliments yeah.”
