“MEGA KNIGHT” is the last thing someone would want to hear while playing Clash Royale. Not only that, but they are also are using a 3.6 Hog cycle. With no clear way around defeat, the game comes to an end after an measly 3 minutes. This is the basic cycle of an average clash game.
If you havent played clash royale before it is a game about, offence and defence as well as stratagy. The main objective of one of the matches is for you to destroy your opponents towers and defend your own, but you have to be smart about how you use your elixir, because once you place a card your elixir will go down depending on how much the card costs.
Sophomore Giovanni Minjres said one of the main reasons why he likes the game so much is “because its a lot about strategy, offense, and defense, and its not to complicated, So anybody could play it right.”
People like the game because it has a lot of different strategies, and cards you can choose from, depending on your playstyle. Some different strategies include, offensive strategies, like if you use a 2.6 Hog cycle you are basically just trying to use your cards until you get a Hog Rider in your hand.
“The reason it’s getting so popular, it’s because a popular streamer [Jinxy] started playing it, and then all of his fans started playing it,” sophomore Noah Belcher said.
Students find the need to play Clash Royale in class because its so addicting and since the games are only three minutes long they try to get as meny games at a time as they can. Students also make clans with other classmates and they play friendly battles against each other.
