The annual diversity fair was held on Thursday, April 9, and there was a huge mixture of cultures with booths about all different types of diverse groups and cultures.
Sophomore Madeline Arthurs had a booth about South Korea, where her mother is from.
“I had the flag and what everything on the flag represents, and I had traditional hanbok, which is the traditional clothing,” Arthurs said.
Arthur’s booth had different types of hanbok and pictures of the country as well as the Korean language on one side, which she said was a scientifically developed language.
“It’s something I’m involved with, because I wore it at my birthdays when I was little,” Arthurs said.
There were also performances and a fashion show, both of which celebrated cultural clothing and traditions. Senior Sunny Nguyen was in the fashion show and performed a dance from Vietnam.
“I love dancing, so I want people to see my dance, and I want to invite my friends so people can see my friends,” Nguyen said.
Many students that went to the fair enjoyed it, such as senior Finley Penington.
“The quinceañera dress [was my favorite clothing item]. It was so good, it was so beautiful,” Pennington said. “That booth was beautiful because that was also one of the ones that had the tarps, and they were painted, and I think theirs was painted very beautifully.”
