Prom season is near and for most girls going to prom the dress is the most important part to figure out. Prom dresses are beautiful but they can be a strain because of their expensiveness. The First Baptist Church of Grandview helps solve this problem with a prom dress giveaway.
For 11 years they have given away free prom dresses, shoes and jewelry. During that time they have grown from 50 dresses in their first years, to no over 2000 gowns. They try very hard to have dresses in every size and currently offer dresses size 0-28 in both long and short.
They are happy to have donated dresses and would love to exchange dresses. They have a limit of one dress per person and the person that is going to wear the dress must be present. They also love to receive jewelry and shoes but donations are not needed in order to get a dress.
