Nonsense

Nonsense

Sabrina Carpenter is an up-and-coming musician. The start of her career took place on Disney Channel in her hit role on Girl Meets World. From there she signed a five-album record deal with Hollywood Records. The five albums took ten years to complete but, in 2021 she was now free of her original binding contract. Since then, Carpenter has released a single, Nonsense.

The single gained much attention on its own through the radio and its spread on social media, specifically TikTok. The single gained its most traction when it was introduced on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Carpenter has accompanied Swift on the tour as an opener to the main act. Carpenter has begun adding her twist to the end of the song specific to the place where. The last few lines of the single are changed in each performance.

“This song catchier than chickenpox is. I bet your house is where my other sock is. Woke up this morning, thought I’d write a pop hit. How quickly can you take your clothes off pop quiz?”, is the original ending to the single. Keeping the same tune and rhythm Carpenter reveals her raunchy creativity each night.

With Austrila being the most recent stop on the Eras Tour we see Carpenter’s best outros. Through the development of her outros, it is evident that Carpenter is gaining confidence in herself and the audience and those viewing online are loving it, eagerly waiting to hear her next lineup.

The “When you go down under do you miss me? He’s so big I felt it in my kidney. Scream so loud they heard it hear in Sydney.”, outro from Sydney Night One is my personal favorite. The crowd erupted in cheers as they were shocked by what had just come out of Carpenter’s mouth.

Carpenter has alluded to releasing her sixth album. This would be on her own and would not be under any record deal or contract. The excitement in all her fans as we wait for the release date and drop of the new album which is still yet to be named.
