FBLA Goes to Nationals

Missouri FBLA recently sent 44 of its members to the FBLA State Leadership Conference. This conference started on April 14 and lasted three days. Activities done at the conference included workshops, note taking, and professional networking opportunities with certain companies from the Fortune 500 for middle school, high school, and college students. About 5,000 people in total participated in this conference, and over 150 contests relating to business education were run during the event. The events covered topics such as marketing, accounting, website design, and mobile application development. Platte county won several awards at this event. 15 Platte County national qualifiers are going to the National Leadership Conference in Florida, which will take place from June 27 to July 3. The Edlin Team, the Partnership with a Business Project team’s business partner, was also nominated for the FBLA Business Person of the Year Award. Brandon Eldin was recognized for his contributions to FBLA at the opening session of the State Conference.
